What People's Say About Place

Finally, I got to check this out for dinner on a Thursday night, and it also happened to be hour hour. Their HH for drinks is every day from 4:30-6:30pm. Their HH for food is from 4:30-6pm. From the HH menu, the kamachi kama was so good when it came out. I highly recommend this dish. For the HH drinks, we ordered the amabuki special junmai, which was very smooth to drink. Between 2 people, we ordered the 16 piece sashimi set to share, which was plenty. Every piece we had was delicious. It came with fresh wasabi and the plate itself was esthetically pleasing. The service was great and very attentive. Our cup of tea was continuously filled up. This spot would definitely be great for a date night. Parking can be a bit tough for this plaza, especially on the weekends. Overall, this spot is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for high quality, Japanese food and a fun time with happy hour!

It's small, only about 5-6 tables, small party will be better. Not good for big group of people. Friendly & nice service, clean washroom, and I feel appreciate they provide some single packages mouth wash (mints flavor) for customer. Absolutely fresh fish for sure, food quality ok, but still have room for better seasoning, improve the tasting experience & presentation. The display wall has a lot of options of sake, However all of them are just for display only, Their mini office or storage room have too much in stock so I can actually see all those take-out containers in boxes up all the way to their ceiling, that makes the restaurant looks unprofessional and not tidy. If I am paying over $90/person for an OMAKASE, I will expect the dinning environment should not see their storage stuff up to their ceiling. By the way, you really need to "de-bone" for the salmon soup, it's not a pleasant experience if I have to de-bone myself when I am paying $90 on sushi restaurant and also tips for dinning in. Fish bones are actually make me loosing appetise, or just give it up. I will be back for sure, but it will take a while for my next visit.

It had been a while since I've had really good service I almost forgot it makes a difference. The food here is good but what stood out was the service. My waiter was David and he spook with such kindness and care. Totally unjudgemental when I asked him for translations (cause I don't know all the fish names!). Really good quality food here. Excellent place.

Surprised that this place was not busy at all. Great quality, presentation and service. Definitely a place to try if you've been looking for a decent Sushi restaurant around San Jose. Very limited settings but when we went at opening hours, there was no one there. There was happy hour but not much on there.

Food was high quality and fresh. Very traditional Japanese with fish from Japan. Nice containers for food and just the right temperature. Staff were very nice and helpful, and gave great service. Suggestion: make the chairs lower on the bar counter for easier access and replace the soy sauce with smaller but flatter containers (easier for dipping)

Amazing sushi in the bay that’s the closest I’ve gotten to the freshness from Japan. The service is excellent and the chef is incredibly kind.

We were here for lunch and ordered lunch special that came with soup and sushi and also a dessert. Lunch special is about $30 per person which is a great deal. The food was delicious. The dessert was Mochi. It was superb. I’m very picky about my desserts, but I really really love this one. The service was five star: we were asked for our preferences and all of our preferences were fulfilled. We also ordered Uni (sea urchin) and it was a treat. The parking lot has Tesla supercharger which is pretty convenient for me. I can fully charge my car while eating lunch here. Unfortunately, they will be moving to Mountain View in a couple of months.
